Hunt: Showdown Will Stop Supporting PS4 and Xbox One in August Amidst a Major Revamp

Hunt: Showdown, the highly regarded PvEvP bounty-hunting horror title from developer Crytek, will discontinue service on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platforms on August 15th. However, players who own the game on these platforms can transition to the newer generation versions without any additional costs.

Crytek's David Fifield announced the cessation of support for the PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One in a recent video that also introduced an upcoming major overhaul for Hunt: Showdown—a significant evolution promised to elevate the gaming experience.

Fifield points out that once the game becomes operational on PS5 and Microsoft Xbox Series X|S, access to the legacy systems will be withdrawn, prompting players to transition to the updated console versions.
